The Maine RV Dealer Association was founded in the 1970’s. The association was originally formed to fight legislation in the U.S. Senate during the gas crunch. The legislation would have greatly affected the usage of Recreational Vehicles in the United States.

The membership has grown a great deal since the 1970’s and RV’s have changed as well. The focus of the association has also grown. We not only fight legislation at both the state and national levels but we also try to provide you, the consumer with the most information possible. In recent years we have been instrumental is passing legislation that provides you with better warranty service and backing from both your dealer and the manufacturer.

Not all dealers choose to be part of the association. You can rest assured that our members are better informed in the industry; therefore you the consumer will also be better informed.
